Venezuelan-born, Brooklyn-based creative Edu Zighelboim is a graphic designer, musician, writer & problem solver who explores themes and conversations prevalent to modern culture. Bursting with colour - Zighelboim's vintage psychedelia aesthetic carries a dystopian feel to the statements he poses. He says, "After being laid off from an uninspiring office job in advertising due to COVID, I shifted my focus to graphic design as a way to feel a little less helpless in the face of COVID as well as the death of George Floyd. Over time, my work began to touch on themes of self-help and mental health, marrying sweeping statements about life, death, happiness, sadness, anxieties and more." Acceptance (2020) captures the helplessness we face when life becomes out of our hands. The trippy context of the imagery suggests exploring different avenues in your mind to accept this, while the burst of colour helps symbolise the energy that can be revived when letting go of control. All of our giclée prints are made using a heavyweight 200gsm museum-quality fine art paper. This paper is FSC approved and has a smooth, clean, matte finish.
