Ana Popescu

Ana Popescu is a Vienna-based visual artist and illustrator, known for her vibrant and evocative works on paper. Born in Romania and raised in France, Ana’s artistic journey has been deeply influenced by her diverse cultural background. Her art explores the themes of space and the interplay between interior and exterior environments. Through exaggerated colours, distorted perspectives, and the deliberate emptiness of living spaces, Ana reimagines familiar settings to create an entirely new reality.

Inspired by architecture and its relationship with light, Ana’s work features simple forms and bold colours, bringing a unique visual language to each piece. A graduate of the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, she has exhibited her work in major cities around the world, including New York, Tokyo, and London. Ana has collaborated with global brands such as Airbnb, Google, and Rimowa, continually pushing the boundaries of contemporary visual art.
